ParkSense needed a unified platform to help drivers find parking in real-time while giving city planners visibility into occupancy patterns. We designed an ecosystem that connects sensors, mobile apps, and administrative dashboards into one seamless experience.
Urban drivers wasted an average of 17 minutes per trip searching for parking, circling blocks and creating unnecessary congestion. Existing parking apps showed static locations but couldn't reflect real-time availability. Meanwhile, cities had no insight into parking demand patterns to optimize pricing or capacity.
We designed a three-sided platform: a driver-facing mobile app with live availability and navigation, IoT sensor interfaces for real-time occupancy detection, and an analytics dashboard for city operators. The driver app uses predictive algorithms to suggest spots based on destination and typical availability windows, reducing guesswork and frustration.
After deployment across 12 metro zones, average parking search time dropped 65% and overall parking utilization increased 40%. Cities gained actionable data on peak demand, enabling dynamic pricing that reduced congestion. The platform now manages over 50,000 parking spaces across multiple cities.
